Therapy
Life can sometimes lead to emotional difficulties or feelings of stress, which affect our day to day life, relationships or work. We may experience anxiety, low self-esteem, confusion, depression, addiction, suicidal thoughts or self-harm.
In the safe confidential space the therapeutic process is determined by you. You set goals to work towards and through the therapeutic relationship I facilitate your journey using creative resources and integrated theories to best meet your personal needs. This can sometimes feel challenging, but it can also be inspiring and creative, exploring internalised concerns, worries and experiences.​

My approach
I bring over 2500 hours of experience working with clients who face challenges such as low self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, identity issues, anger, and loss. My passion lies in getting to know each individual personally, understanding their unique experiences. Through a variety of creative therapeutic approaches and the secure therapeutic relationship, clients can identify and process their previously internalised experiences, connecting them to body sensations, thoughts, and feelings. As you employ self-soothing strategies and deepen your self-understanding, you will begin to notice relational patterns and forge a stronger connection with your inner self.
In my practice, I conduct face-to-face therapy sessions in Amsterdam, catering specifically to expat adolescents and adults. Additionally, I provide online therapy for clients across Europe, giving greater flexibility in appointments.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapies, including the therapeutic alliance, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic therapy, and creative approaches. I am a registered member of both the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Nederlandse Federation Gezondheid (NFG), thus I adhere to the highest professional standards.
